Suppose a spherical wave originating at 0 to be refracted at the plane
surface AB.
blue waves on canvas. yellow suns.
The evolute of the hyperbola is the caustic of the refracted wave, in this case
virtual of course.

where the island
reveals
simplicity
& the
castle ruins
remain
near
a path
to the walled garden
walking through content
pleasure hidden art words falling water theorems & abstractions
zero times two silent configurations analyze dust threshold trees
far think something speak internal/external annihilating juxtaposition
clouds without moons paint one another conscious to leap disguised
sheltered window & light edge dynamic symmetry water balancing
terraces & grace rhythm & spirit the twigs the leaves the feathers & stone
in battlestorm wind
i remain stalwart
paintbrush spring wildflower in hand
the red shouldered hawk flies overhead
as the sun lightens the field
somewhere in time i walk
barefoot in tall grass
tasks
today i will find material for a quilt
rearrange the stars
time is in tatters
i sweep the roof
dust discontinuity
my rabbit is alive in the hills
vision considers soliloquy
cardboard houses battleships
palette theory rain
i will ascertain the reflective
black ink chimera
reveries of dream
the right to imagine
faces. leaves. moments.
decisions. indecisions.
allusions. illusions.
somewhere the birds sing.
the trees listen.
collected roses. raked poems.
the hours
the hours
become
the pages
become
the voyages
i fashion a sail of the mysterious & hand drawn maps following borges & rilke…..
across the blue fields
intrepid
mind
startled
discreet
survivor
