DISPLACED
IDEAL
A condition of community
unlinking the politics of identity arbitrarily intermixed with heightened
senses
Narrating via textual
evidence a dance plays out
elongates
though shortening from
first note
What’s missing is hierarchy
lineage be damned a grand scheme
a community with no site beyond here here and
here
Seen in another
we see
the freedom to move about belonging where when to whom
How can navigation be
achieved with no A
or B
An
open displaced
ideal seeking materialization A WORD
As it distinguishes
we corrode in unresolved typography
unleashing an essentially conscious activity
An aesthetic creation
- a word -
fondles
being pleasurably with its subjectivity
only
to ultimately be deemed objective
A constant
circumlocution creates concepts coarse in connectivity
ESTABLISHED
ELECTRONICALLY
There was once a time
when
there was a time that existence was questioned
now
we exist
coexist
but this the time we lack interaction
the same poles all moving in the same direction
regulating in isolation
established
electronically
an
abridged version
of contact
WITH
LESS THAN SENSE
Untractable
liberites taken
leave a member impotent
as relief relieved allows
for
the fantastic
Certain capacities
while still intact separate inanimate objects
with less than sense
Opressed
we seek
and interpret on our own
accord
interpretations are dissected under this lense
and that precept
but for a waste we
listen and are informed
Author statement:
I usually begin - or begin thinking about - my poems with something that I have heard or read. I write it down, or if I don't have my notebook, I will type it into the notepad on my phone. I have become very keen on listening and observing through a wider frame, trying to take in what is actually going on around me. Bits of conversations I hear as I pass by have really started to find their way into my work. Hearing one sentence or statement outside of context, as a passerby is quite interesting.
I write all of my poems by hand in a notebook and then transfer over to some electronic media. As I am composing in the electronic environment I find the rhythm of each line and deal with line breaks and give my poems that added substance
